Officially in training again
I started Pfitzinger's 24 week up to 70 miles per week marathon training program yesterday. The last two weeks have been more of the same... not getting up and skipping runs because I've been too busy or tired. So far I'm off to a good start - I've gotten up two days in a row to run. At 4:15 I was tempted to crawl back into bed, but having a 10 miler on the schedule got me going because I didn't want to have to try to do that tonight. There's just way too much going on with Christmas and everything else and I need to stick to my early morning runs. Minor irritation in my left knee but I think it's because I need to change my shoes. These have 612 miles on them and I need to stop trying to get more - it's just not worth it.
