Not really a surprise
I started my run last night at normal speed but only 1.5% incline. After struggling through 3 miles, I dropped the speed but kept it a little above where I normally do recovery runs. I did another 2 miles and stopped. I didn't even attempt to do any strides. I knew it wasn't very likely that I'd be able to do the scheduled run and I didn't want to take any chances on getting hurt with the marathon only 8 weeks away. Total for the week was 67 miles.
